Service Description

Hearthward is a home management application that generates personalized seasonal care plans for your home based on your property details, location, and climate. The service includes automated maintenance task recommendations, household management tools, and home maintenance content.

Accounts and Households

To use Hearthward, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Hearthward allows you to create or join a household. Household members share access to the household's home profile, tasks, and care plans. You are responsible for inviting only people you trust to your household.

Subscriptions and Payments

Hearthward offers a free tier with limited features and a premium subscription with full access to generated care plans, maintenance tasks, and all features.

• Free tier— up to 10 manually created tasks. No generated care plans.
• Premium— $4.99/month or $39.99/year. Includes generated seasonal care plans, unlimited tasks, and all features.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard settings or the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

Home Maintenance Recommendations

Hearthward provides general home maintenance recommendations based on the information you provide about your property. These recommendations are for informational and organizational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice. Always consult qualified professionals for electrical, plumbing, structural, HVAC, or other specialized work.

We do not guarantee that following our recommendations will prevent damage, maintain property value, or satisfy any legal, insurance, or warranty requirements. You are solely responsible for decisions about maintaining your home.

Blog Content and Affiliate Links

Our blog provides general information about home maintenance. Some blog posts and care plan supply recommendations contain affiliate links to products on Amazon and other retailers. These are clearly disclosed. We may earn a small commission from purchases made through these links at no additional cost to you.

Intellectual Property

All content on hearthward.co — including text, graphics, logos, icons, care plan templates, and the Hearthward brand — is owned by Hearthward and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

You retain ownership of any data you provide (home profile details, custom task names, service provider information). By using the service, you grant us a license to use this data to provide and improve the service.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Submit false or misleading information
• Interfere with the service's operation or other users' access
• Use automated means to access the service (scraping, bots) without permission

Limitation of Liability

Hearthward is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hearthward shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on any content, including care plan recommendations, blog articles, and home maintenance information.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the state where Hearthward is incorporated.
